FOR RENT: Empire Lodge
If you are looking to totally escape...I've got JUST the place for you. The Empire Lodge is -- well -- in Empire (Leelanau County), just blocks from the beautiful Empire Beach (with some of the BEST sunsets in the world!!). I've been a guest on multiple occassions this year and I highly recommend it for you and your family or group of friends. Comfy and cozy and simply perfect. It's one of the places you read about in a great romance novels! Enjoy the backyard deck and gardens or the front porch swing (although it's been too cold for me to enjoy these personally, as of yet). I wish I could afford to rent it myself all summer long!! If you're interested, I'd call ASAP to reserve your week because this Empire charmer won't last long!!
